Good News from Uruguay - Praise the Lord that Aimee Johnson arrived safely in Uruguay to begin her ministries with the Grace Church in Uruguay. Pray for her adjustment and also that she might get settled into an Uruguayan home soon. Nearly 80 adults, more than 50 children, plus all those in the church who helped serve shared in the church's Christmas outreach party. Please pray that the seed of the Gospel planted will produce a harvest.
Bentons Back in Tanzania - Thanks for your prayers for Mike and Terese Benton and their family who arrived back in Tanzania on New Year's Eve. Pray for the projects and ministries they are already involved in since their return. Pray for Terese as she also home schools Erin, Danae, Leah and Zach.
Back to Congo - Bill and Sue Vinton returned to Congo on January 24. They are supposed to be on home assignment for one year, but with Fred and Karen Vinton as the only other missionary couple in Congo, Bill and Sue felt they could not be gone that long. Bill needs to teach two classes at Kindu Bible College, as well as teaching a seminar in Kipaka. They plan to return to the States in time for their daughter Rachel's graduation from Grace Bible College and Cornerstone University in May. Please pray for the ministries in Congo. Please also pray for Laura who is a sophomore at Rift Valley Academy in Kenya. Pray that peace will return to Kenya where there has been much turmoil since the presidential elections in late December.
Congratulations to the Trumbowers - Lawrence and Barbara Trumbower are proud grandparents of Elina Joy born to David and Tirzah (Trumbower) Pichotta in Puerto Rico on January 3, 2008.

Puerto Rico Updates - Please pray for the work teams that will be going to Puerto Rico during the next 6-8 months. Please pray for Mike and Megin (TenHoeve) Stearns who will leave on February 9 for a one-year term working at the camp with Jon and Theresa Marshall. John Cox asks that we pray for spiritual progress for the adults who have shown interest this last year. Lawrence Trumbower has installed a Site Manager computer program at WCGB to monitor the transmitter power output with the capacity to shut the transmitter off if they should be out of tolerance. This will keep the station legal when no one is at the station.
News from the Holliers - Andy Hollier (Australia) reports that final arrangements and booking of the Fox Valley Community Center have been made for the planned future church services. Continue to pray for the growth of the St. Ives ministries.
Training Seminars in Zambia - Praise the Lord for an exciting two-week seminar which took place in Zambia in January. This seminar is part of the new goal of reaching at least 1200 men and women with solid Bible teaching during 2008. Please pray that those who are trained will remain faithful and excited about this new endeavor.
Pray for Carl Moyer - As we go to press, we have received word that Carl Moyer (Zambia) is having health problems most likely with his heart and will be arriving in the States on January19, along with his wife Joanne, for a checkup with a cardiologist. Please pray for the doctors in Cincinnati who will be treating Carl.
News from Kipaka, Congo - Please pray for Fred Vinton who is meeting with Hadji and his wives continuing the study on salvation. (Hadji is a Muslim who believed on Christ last year.) One of the Muslims who had been in Fred's Bible study in Hadji's house but who had rejected the Gospel attended the last meeting. His name is Ramon. Please pray for Ramon's salvation and continue to pray for the salvation of Hadji's wives. Pray also for the outreach team that Fred is teaching at the Kipaka church. PTL that the team members seemed to now really understand that at the cross the Lord Jesus was punished for all our sins. For the first time they can see why the Good News is really great news!
