Pray for our MKs - One of GMI's most important responsibilities is to minister to the spiritual, physical, and educational needs of our MKs. At the present time, we have 57 MKs: two in Australia; five in Bolivia; six in Congo; eleven in Costa Rica; two in India; four in Malawi; five in Puerto Rico; fourteen in Tanzania; and eight in Zambia. Many of our MKs are home schooled; four are away at an MK boarding school; and a number of others either attend an MK school, private, or public school where they live. Four are attending college in the States. Please pray for our MKs, especially those who attend school away from home. Pray for Colton Rabenold (Tanzania) who recently broke his arm at Rift Valley Academy. Pray especially for the parents of our MKs as they bring their children up in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

India Update - Please pray for the "Coached By Christ" youth program that Sandra Muthyala has recently started in the Hyderabad church. PTL for the excitement this has generated among the kids. Pray that as they memorize God's Word, it will take root in their hearts and cause them first of all to believe on the Lord Jesus and then to live for Him. Pray also for Sandra as she heads up a new Bible study among the ladies in the city church. At the first meeting, they had 16 women and all are enjoying studying the Word of God. Pray also for Sandra's mother who is not well.

Tanzania Updates - Please pray for Chad Zuber and the national grace church leaders as they work through a problem caused by those who are against us maintaining our two high schools in Tanzania. PTL that the last meeting pointed to a favorable response for the church. PTL for what Chad has accomplished in the schools during his first year of ministry in Tanzania. Pray that the strong evangelistic thrust of our schools will bear much fruit as young men and women place their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Seminars at Kama - PTL that Bill and Sue Vinton were able to fly to Kama and spend five days with the brothers and sisters of our churches in that area. Sue taught a seminar to the women on the "attributes" of God and she held teaching classes for the Sunday School teachers. Bill had a special seminar for the church leaders on the important factors needed for the church to grow. Please pray for our church leaders in the Kama area who have no resident missionary since the death of Sam Vinton, Sr.

Alex Gulart on Logos II - Please pray for Alex Gulart, a young man from the Grace Bible Church of Montevideo, Uruguay, who is serving for one year on the LOGOS II ship operated by Operation Mobilisation. Seven years ago LOGOS II visited Uruguay several days after Alex had believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. His visits on the ship gave him a strong desire to serve the Lord, which he began doing at his home church. Since then he has been involved in the camp ministries of Teenstreet. His one-year tour started in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, where he received two weeks of training with more than 200 people from 45 different nations. The team will be visiting various islands in the Caribbean, as well as ports along the coast of South America, with the tour ending in Argentina. Alex is asking for your prayers that he will lead many to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus.

Prayer for the Crouses - Please remember Lisa and Kevin Crouse (Australia) and family in your prayers. Lisa's father passed away on March 13 in Chicago. Lisa was on a flight to Chicago when her dad died. This is one of the difficult things missionaries face when they are so far from family.

Salvation in Malawi - Praise the Lord for the good report from Malawi from Kennedy Simtowe. For the past year, the Simtowes have been serving in Malawi (they moved from Zambia where they were instrumental in starting that ministry with Dan and Tina Moyer). During March, Kennedy made a ten-day preaching tour with eight church leaders he is discipling. They visited 13 villages where more than 100 people made professions of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. What rejoicing by the angels in heaven! Kennedy is supervising 17 preaching points where the plans are to start new churches. Pray for Dan Moyer and Boyd Booze (from Seattle) who will be conducting a week-long seminar for the church leaders. Pray that they will have a great impact on these new leaders who will be trained to go back to their own towns and work for the Lord. Kennedy and Sofia are thankful for all those who pray and support them in this new ministry.

Director of Field Operations - The GMI Board of Directors has appointed Don TenHoeve (former missionary in Bolivia) as director of field operations at the GMI home office. One of Don's many ministries will be arranging speaking engagements for GMI missionaries, a ministry carried on by Rev. Dan Bultema as part-time assistant to Dr. Vinton from October 1990 to March 31, 2004. Since Dan Bultema's homegoing in April 2004, Pastor Tim McGarvey (Coopersville Bible Church) has been ably filling in at the GMI office. Don TenHoeve will begin his work at the GMI office on April 10.
