Good News from Tanzania - PTL for the following report from Ted Rabenold: "We had an exciting service in the Kapenta church Sunday when two of my friends to whom I and several of the men have been witnessing for the past three years came to faith in Christ. The two were tough old boys who wanted nothing to do with Christianity when I met them. We thank God for moving in their hearts. Pray for both of them as their families oppose their desire to worship Christ. We thank the Lord that six people have turned to Christ from 'their ways' in Kapenta village in the past month." There is some more good news from Kawila village where after an "open air" evangelistic meeting conducted by Evangelist Edmonti Mwanabeti, the village head man and ten others believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for Evangelist Edmonti Mwanabeti.

New Antenna at WCGB - In spite of delays because of the rains, PTL that the new antenna was installed by a special crew who came to work with Lawrence Trumbower in late April. PTL that the old antenna was dismantled successfully. Continue to pray as the Word of God goes out over the air waves. PTL for the power of the Word.

Seminar in Malawi - PTL for the good one-week seminar conducted by Dan Moyer, Boyd Booze, and Kennedy Simtowe for our church leaders in Malawi the week before Easter. We are grateful to the Lord for the wonderful leadership of Kennedy in the outreach ministry taking place in Malawi. Pray that the 17 preaching points will grow into churches led by godly leaders.

Kindu Bible College - Please pray for Bill and Sue Vinton as they fly to Kindu from Bukavu (a one-hour flight) May 9 and plan to return on May 19. Bill will be teaching a course to the students of KBC. Sue will be doing a literacy training seminar, teaching four afternoon sessions to the college students' wives and six morning sessions to church women, as well as training the church treasurer to keep books using the computer. Please pray for safety in travel and a profitable time teaching and interacting with the people in Kindu.

Bolivia Updates - Pray for a good recovery for Jerry Olson who had knee surgery in mid-April. PTL for the good progress Talo Vergara is having in the youth ministries and especially the support he is receiving from the church leaders. Pray for the new "Youth Room" which will be opened every afternoon for the youth in our churches and schools. PTL for the good progress that Dan and Mary Sue Reed are making in their study of Spanish. Pray that they will make many friends as they go out into the neighborhood practicing the language.

Meiers in Zambia - Please pray that Tim and Debbe Meier's work permit will be issued soon and that the work on their house in Mufulira will be completed (especially the security wall) so they can move into their new home. Pray for them as they begin their new ministries in Mufulira. Pray also for the ministry team that their daughters, Melissa and Elizabeth, will be leading to Zambia arriving May 23.

GBC Team to Tanzania - Please pray for Ken Kemper, president of Grace Bible College, and Bev Wallace who will be leading a team of 11 students from the college on a four-week ministry trip to Tanzania. Since President Kemper served in Tanzania for 16 years, we believe this will be a tremendous learning experience for the students. Pray for the students and those who will hear the Gospel through the testimonies of the students. Two of the students (Amber Befus and Alex Perez) will be staying in Tanzania for another month to complete their required internships for their degrees in missions.

Summer Camps - Please be in prayer for Jon and Theresa Marshall (Puerto Rico) and their fellow-workers as they prepare for the camps to be held this summer. Pray also for Brook Seekins (Tanzania) and the youth department of the Grace Church in Tanzania as they work on the logistics of their camps for the summer since they are held in different areas of the country. Pray that the Christian campers will grow spiritually and those who don't know the Lord Jesus Christ might come to faith in Him.

Muellers in Brazil - Please pray for Ken and Mary Mueller as they minister in Brazil until May 25. Ken will be doing a lot of verification of Volume I of his commentary on the book of Acts.
