Good News from Tanzania - PTL for the following good report from Ted Rabenold: "After three excellent trips to Nangoli fishing village this month we thank God for eleven men and one woman who came to Christ during the outreach with the jet boat. We are in the process of building a grass chapel in this large fishing village of 800 people and are currently preparing teachers to go there by boat for two-week intervals during which time they will teach the course called 'Firm Foundations.' (This course is made to acquaint people with the God of the Bible starting in Genesis 1:1. PTL we have 14 men who are trained to teach this course.) We are thankful for a new sunflower oil press and filtration unit installed in Kapenta. The press is operating off of a 24 horsepower engine. Together with the one we installed last year these presses are transforming the variety of crops planted in the valley. They are the only oil presses located in the entire valley and allow people to grow and process sunflowers locally." Continue to pray for the ministries carried on in the Rukwa Valley.
Report from the Holliers - Andy and Jeneane are excited that new people are showing an interest and are coming to their home meetings. Last weekend a new couple from South Sydney attended and enjoyed the studies in God’s Word. Please pray for a new home meeting which is to begin shortly. Akos Szalai is making arrangements and inviting friends. Andy will lead the Bible studies.
Update from Aimee Johnson - Aimee is excited that she is finally in a house. She writes, "...and I am loving it! It's great to be part of a family and I cannot believe how much it has boosted my confidence in speaking Spanish. I enjoy the family and feel really blessed by the opportunity to be part of their lives. The Lord is faithful and has been so good to me during the time I was staying in the church." Pray for Aimee as she uses her Spanish in her ministry with the children's classes in a poor neighborhood.
Back in Kipaka - Three weeks ago Fred and Karen Vinton left Kipaka because of a flare-up of Fred's rash. PTL it has completely cleared up after some time in a cooler climate and they are now back in Kipaka. Pray that they will be able to get cement and rebar to finish the new hospital addition.
News from Puerto Rico - John Cox asks us to join him in prayer for the salvation of the new adults who are attending the church. The WCGB radio station building once again became the three-week operation headquarters for the "World Changers" -- dozens of youth who come each year to build simple wooden houses in nearby poor communities. The Trumbowers ask that we pray that the Freedom Act (H.R. 2905) will be supported and passed soon, to prohibit the misnamed "Fairness Doctrine" act from being resurrected. Please contact your congressman.
Update from Zambia - Carl and Joanne Moyer want to thank all who prayed for Carl during his recent illness. They are back in Zambia and praise the Lord that things are going well at the church.
