Shermans Back in Tanzania - PTL that Steve and Barb Sherman and their children, Trevor and Stefanie, arrived safely in Tanzania on July 7. Trevor is doing well after his surgery. Thanks for your prayers.

Sally Roth in the States - In early July, Sally Roth and Rachel and Brianna arrived in Grand Rapids so Sally could have knee surgery. This took place on the 20th. Please pray for quick healing. Sally will have six weeks of physical therapy before returning to Zambia. Pray for Jeff who remained in Zambia teaching at Zambia Grace Bible Institute.

Salvation in Tanzania - Last month we reported that Ted Rabenold and his fellow workers in the Rukwa Valley had the privilege of seeing 12 fishermen come to a saving knowledge of Christ. Ted tells of another trip on Lake Rukwa when they visited three fishing villages. In the first village, six men and one woman made professions of faith in Christ. In another village where 50 fishermen heard the gospel, a man named Salvatore came forward in front of 49 other fishermen and received Christ as Savior. The last village visited was where the 12 men were saved on the last trip. PTL for six more men who trusted in the Lord Jesus. Please keep praying for these new believers. Pray also for future outreach work in these villages. Ted is planning a medical outreach trip to the fishing villages in October, the Lord willing.

Trumbowers in Central Asia - Please pray for Lawrence and Barbara Trumbower (Puerto Rico) who will be visiting their daughter and family in Central Asia leaving August 17. Their daughter and family have served in that difficult part of the world for five years. PTL for three who were recently saved there.

Pray for the Holliers - Please pray for Andy and Jeneane Hollier (Australia) as they prepare to return to the States the end of August for home assignment for eight months. Pray for the last minute arrangements and preparations that need to be handled before they leave Australia.

Bolivia Update - Over 250 Bolivian representatives were elected to rewrite the Bolivian national constitution. The process is expected to take over a year to complete. There is the feeling among many Bolivians that the future is uncertain, especially for evangelicals. Please pray that the government will not take the anti-evangelical approach they have threatened to take. Pray for the young people from the Cochabamba church who attended a special retreat last month for youth leaders known as "Fe Extrema" (Extreme Faith).

Tanzania Grace Christian Camp - PTL for the three great weeks of camp in four different locations that were conducted under the leadership of Brook Seekins. God greatly worked in the hearts of the campers as they learned to "Please the Heart of God" as David did. PTL for eight young people who accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior this summer. Brook is praising the Lord for the first ever all-Tanzanian staff. They did a wonderful job. Please pray for Brook and those working with her and with the youth in our churches in Tanzania.

New Believers in Costa Rica - Chuck and Joy Befus report that they had a wonderful week where four adults and two children accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior in four different moments. "People are coming to know the Lord as we are faithful in sharing the Gospel of God’s love." Please pray for these new converts.

Report from Zambia - Carl Moyer continues to rejoice in the wonderful opportunity the Lord has given him to lead the English-speaking church in Kabwe. He is thankful for the growth he sees in the lives of some of the white farmers who are attending the church. One of the women gave this testimony: "You can’t believe the change in my husband. He has done a 180 degree turn in his life. He has been a Christian for many years but had grown cold and bitter toward the Lord after the death of one of our children in a horse riding accident. He is now growing in the Lord!" Praise the Lord for the power of the Word as it is applied by the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the hearers. Please pray for Carl and Joanne in this new ministry.

Kipaka Update - Please continue to pray for Fred Vinton (Congo) as he teaches a group of Muslim men the Scriptures. They have completed their study on the Pentateuch and the men have agreed to study the life of Jesus.

Hodgsons Complete Language School - PTL that Cory and Kim Hodgson (Tanzania) have completed their formal studies at Swahili Language School in Iringa. Pray for them as they move to Mbeya where they will be serving the Lord. Pray that they will continue to study and use their Swahili as they share the Gospel.
