Titus & Kristy Lloyd
Titus and Kristy met when they began attending the same church in junior high. They began dating in high school and married several years later in the church where they met. Throughout the early years of their marriage, they worked extensively with children and youth in various areas of ministry.
Titus holds an Associates Degree in Computer Programming from Ivy Tech State College and has furthered his education by taking many classes in computer applications. Kristy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Huntington College. Prior to starting a family, she worked full time as a private tutor to students of varying ages and skill levels.
Titus and Kristy have four children—Zechariah, Matthew, Margaret, and Caleb. As parents, they look forward to broadening the kids’ worldviews as they grow and learn in Malawi.
Titus and Kristy never imagined ministering in Africa, but it has now proven to be a perfect fit. After a short visit in February 2007, they fell in love with Zambia and the ministry being done there. After much prayer, they felt that God was leading them to Africa. While in Zambia, Titus organized and oversaw the computer training center and Internet café.
In September 2009, the Lloyds’ ministry shifted to Malawi. Titus helps to facilitate different ministries with Grace Church in Malawi working directly with church leaders in areas of mentoring, Chichewa literature translation coordination, and training. The Lloyds also partner with African Bible College where Titus teaches junior high, senior high, and college computer courses. He is also the “go to” guy for all computer needs both on campus and throughout the missionary community. Kristy homeschools their children and offers her services as an after-school tutor, as well as helping out wherever there is a need.
